Under direction of the Food Service Director Bob Joens and Assistant Food Service Director Larry Raiteri, CCIL and Aramark completed the first Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development (MOWD) on the job training class in April 2006. CCIL was awarded a grant to establish training programs specifically targeting non-violent, ex-felons who are 21y/o and older. CCIL, in partnership with Aramark, created a ten week foodservice training class based on past training programs and current concepts.
